Hibrawi paints outdoors to capture the best light for her work. She has created a traditional Arabic style seating on the ground, with cushions and pillows she had made and brought from her home town of Aleppo, Syria. Seated on the floor is how she is most comfortable painting, with the exception if the piece is very large and she needs to take a ‘standing’ perspective. Additionally, when she works on paper she uses a flat flat countertop for Arabic Calligraphy writing.
