'Dear Mr. Gibran' is a letter to the late
Kahlil Gibran, a Lebanese American
artist, poet, writer and mystic.

The paintings are interpretations of
his writings and philosophies, through
the use of color, movement and
spheres. Representing unity, spheres
in motion is a continuous energy force
found in everything, from our great
planets to the tiniest cells in our bodies.

This collection celebrates Gibran's
genius and most importantly his
relentless effort to unite East and
West - a true citizen of the world.
Tapping into the potential of Arabic as an art form is limitless when East meets West. The words are created in abstract compositions linking
traditional with contemporary. There is a great freedom and sense of adventure in the courtship of the Arabic script. Arabic text is not only an
identifying symbol; it has been actively used across the Middle East to communicate, teach and has evolved as one of the most beautiful
scripts in the world. This is why the Arabic language is such a powerful concept in our modern day understanding of art in the Middle East.
